The LTE TDD/FDD International Summit (GTI Summit) 2011 Hong Kong was jointly developed by China Mobile, Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI) and GSMA, and held on Tuesday, 15 November 2011 at Mobile Asia Congress.
The Global TD-LTE Initiative (GTI), founded by leading international mobile network operators in 2011 to meet the demands for growing mobile broadband and to explore new opportunities across industry and public segments. As a 31 member operator community, GTI is a virtual open platform that aims to create value for stakeholders across the TD-LTE ecosystem and drive early adoption of the technology and convergence of TD-LTE and LTE FDD.
The unique gathering was built upon the success of the four LTE TDD/FDD International Summits that had been held since 2009. World's remarkable industry leaders and experts, including Mr. Yue Li, the CEO of China Mobile, Mr. Eric Prusch, the CEO of Clearwire and other senior industry representatives joined the 2011 Summit and shared their insights with attendees on:
