Mobile World Congress will take place on Wednesday, 16 November and Thursday, 17 November, 2011. In addition there are some partner events taking place on Tuesday, 15 November.
Mobile Asia Congress takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong. The venue is located at 1 Expo Drive, Wanchai, Hong Kong, China. We recommend attendees enter the Harbour Road entrance and proceed up the escalators to the Registration area on Level 3.
The term "Mobile Asia Congress" includes everything that happens during the four days of the event. There are many components that make up the event, including a conference programme, an exhibition, our programme for app developers called App Planet, and outstanding networking opportunities. Mobile Asia Congress is much more than just a "conference"!
We expect to host 4,200 attendees in 2011. See information about our 2010 attendance.
All Mobile Asia Congress sessions and communications are all presented in English. Simultaneous interpretation is offered at selected conference sessions. More details will be available closer to the event dates.

Attendees from countries requiring a visa invitation letter may request a letter when registering to attend. You must complete your registration and provide full payment before the letter will be sent.
Hong Kong offers many convenient transportation options including buses, the MTR subway system and taxis, so we do not provide shuttles services between hotels. We will offer transportation to the MAC Networking Party evening event.
Yes. The minimum age for all attendees is 16 years of age. Requests for exceptions to this rule must be made in writing and approved by GSMA. Attendees under the age of 16 will not be able to enter without GSMA's prior written approval.
Certainly, however we suggest you register before arrival to avoid queues. You won't want to waste time waiting in a queue!
You will need to bring a business card and an acceptable form of Photo ID to collect your badge onsite. Acceptable forms of Photo ID are a passport, national ID card or driving licence with photo. Names must be spelled in Latin alphabets.

Speakers are selected on the topic relevance and originality of their submission, in addition to their proven ability in the proposed topic and overall prominence in the industry.
We make every effort to contact successful applicants within two months after the close of the call for papers.
Confirmed speakers should wait for the speaker team to contact them with details on how to complete registration.
