2009 Event Highlights

Over two days, the 2009 GSMA Mobile Asia Congress brought together the leadership of Asian mobile operators and key players in the broader mobile ecosystem in an exclusive forum to share the visions and strategies that will shape the future of the mobile industry.

Held 18-19 November, 2009 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, attendees at the 2009 Mobile Asia Congress discussed strategic and technological industry issues, with an emphasis on developments in the Asian market.

Keynote sessions and conference discussion topics touched on all areas of the industry, including:

• Mobile Planet – Mobile Technology as an Enabler for Environmental Sustainability

In addition to an insightful conference, attendees were given opportunities to network with one another and seek out new ideas, products and partners in the Exhibition Showcase. The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Happy Valley Race Course was the exciting backdrop for Wednesday’s Networking Party & Awards Celebration, where the winners of the 2009 Asia Mobile Awards were announced.
